The Miracle makers trilogy by Glenda Larke

Book 1: Heart of the mirage, Book 2: The shadow of Tyr, Book 3: Song of the shiver barons

Oh the wonder, oh the glory - happiness filled Fantasy readers!
What a cracker! This truly is a miracle of miracles, in this reviewer's opinion, anyway!  A fantasy series which is so well written, the author can poke fun at today's hopeless grammar and punctuation. On page 67 of volume 2, a character says" she would of been bumping her head on the ceiling". The next character "winced at the grammar".
Besides all that, this is an "unputdownable" read. The story line is clear, the plot is full of action, which progresses at a steady, fast pace. The characters are sound and credibly drawn, their relationships are honestly played out and the denouement, with a real twist, which is quite logical in terms of the story,is believable and exciting. There several cliffhanger episodes, there is sufficient romance and sex too to satisfy the most particular reader.  Phew, what is there left to say - not a lot, except to ask our nice library ladies to buy this author's previous work and anything else she writes.
