Christmas tree

Have you seen the Christmas trees in our libraries?

We know from past experience that Horowhenua folk are both caring and generous. Christmas time is a time for sharing, for giving thanks for the blessings in our lives by trying to make the lives of others better. Lets do it!

Once again Horowhenua Friends of the libraries are supporting our community by encouraging you to give a Christmas gift to make somebodies Christmas day. There are many families within our region to whom Christmas can be a time of trial rather than a time of joy. So come in to the library, select a gift label, buy an appropriate gift and leave it under our Christmas tree. Friends of the Horowhenua libraries will liaise with community organisations to ensure that the gifts are distributed to the appropriate people by Christmas Day.
