Eight Lives Down

The story of a counter terrorist bomb disposal operator’s tour in Iraq makes for compelling reading in Eight lives down by Chris Hunter.

For four months he took on the most dangerous job in the world in the most dangerous country in the world.  It is a job that that entails being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The job of bomb disposal in Iraq is a lonely one.  It is just you and the bomb.  But halfway through his tour Chris Hunter is told that the terrorists want him dead.  This is not fiction, this is reality.
