Another book which has caught my eye this week is Ian Bruce’s How to be a great dad. The underlying message is that you are not born a good father. There are a set of skills that with practice and experience can be fine-tuned. Bruce believes that armed with good information in advance, anyone has the potential to become a great father. He looks at the traits that define a good dad and then takes the reader through fatherhood from conception to the disagreements we inevitably face as our children grow into adulthood.
