Nefertiti: the book of the dead by Nick Drake

Nefertiti was regarded as one of the most beautiful women in history. Along with her husband Akhenaten she ruled an empire stretching from Africa to the Middle East.

However an epic struggle was taking place behind the scenes.   Nefertiti and her husband have started an enlightened new religion and build a magnificent capital city called Akhenaten to worship the sun god Aten.  Nefertiti: the book of the dead is a fictional account of her disappearance and Rahotep, a young detective in the Thebes division has only ten days to find her before a festival is due to take place.  Success will bring glory but if he fails he and his whole family will die.
